Non-US built, Non-US flagged and/or Non-US owned Vessels
These yachts are welcome to visit Cuba by sea.
They are required to follow the Cuban Customs clearance and entry procedures and upon entry, will present:
• Ships registry
• Guest list & passports
• Crew list & passports
• Cuban visa for all crew and guests
• OFAC Affidavit of legal travel for US crew & guests
• Navigation plan (pre-approved by Cuban authorities
• Cuban Customs Declaration
It is recommended that a Cuba-based agent be commissioned to provide all of this information to the Cuban authorities with a minimum of 30 days advance with any special request by captain or guests.
Advance approval and a Cuban agent handling entry will take hours off of the process.
Cuba Luxury Expeditions provides all necessary visas, affidavits and documents well in advance and presents a proposed navigation schedule and destinations to the authorities for prior approval.
US built, US flagged and/or US owned Vessels
Under current US Government Regulations detailing restrictions on US travel to Cuba, these vessels cannot, for the immediate future, navigate Cuban waters or enter Cuban ports without repercussions upon re-entering US waters.

Commercial and Private Flights
All passengers arriving in Cuba need a Cuban visa which is obtained in advance from your commercial airline or you agent who will provide them to you whether you fly commercial or private.
Non-US Aircraft Permits
Required:
Landing and flying permits can be obtained by your Cuba agent from the Cuban authorities upon request.
Every port of entry has an international airport for commercial or private aircraft nearby.
The international airports in Cuba welcome commercial airlines from all over the world. We can help non-US passengers plan their flights or they can make their own flight arrangements from the country of origin.
US Aircraft
Under current US Government Regulations detailing restriction on US travel to Cuba, private aircraft from the United States (N-Registry) will not be permitted to fly to Cuba.
US commercial airlines carrying US citizens can land at Jose Marti International Airport in Havana until further notice.
US citizens traveling to Cuba will sign an OFAC (United States Deptartment of the Treasury Office of Foreign Asset Control) affidavit that is proof of legal travel to the United States. This affidavit is provided by your agent.
